Dance & Music Tutors Wanted

Establishing our first studio in Hong Kong in 2003, Carol Ng’s Music is now expanding to Hobart, Tasmania. We are currently seeking high caliber candidates in the field of dance and music teaching to join our team.

Job Type: Part-time/subcontract
Location: Sandy Bay and schools in Hobart Region

Duties and Responsibilities

• Deliver quality individual or group lessons
• Prepare lesson materials
• Prepare students for competitions, performances and examinations
• Organize, assist and participate in students’ performances and rehearsals
• Record students’ progress and communicate well with parents

Essential Qualities

• Tertiary qualifications to an advanced level
• Strong work ethic, organization and communication skills
• Long term commitment
• Capacity and willingness to work with children
• Previous teaching experience or appropriate pedagogical training
• Specialize in one or more instruments (for music teachers)
• Current registration of Work with Vulnerable People (Employment)
• Willingness to travel
• Rights to work
• A valid ABN

Desirable Attribute: Hold a current CPR or/and first aid certificate
